Entrance Requirements

Undergraduate Students

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Students applying for admission into All Nations Bible College must have completed their Grade 12 - high school or its equivalent at a minimum.

Mature Students' Entry

1. Be at least 25 years old.

2. Provide introductory letter from employer or show any other proof of employment.

3. The mature applicant must also have relevant work experience and relevant education, and Passes Grade 12 - high school English and Mathematics, and/or equivalent academic qualifications. Equivalent education includes but is not limited to Teachers’ Certificates and short-term diplomas from accredited institutions. Mature students may also be required to pass an internal Mature Students’ Entrance Examination.

Applicants with Post-Secondary Diploma or Equivalent

1. The Diploma must be in an area of study relevant to the proposed programme of study.

2. Applicants with First (1st) Class must have at least 1 (one) year of relevant work experience. Successful applicants will be admitted to Level 300

3. Applicants with Second (2nd) Class Honors (Upper or Lower Divisions), must have at least 1 (one) year of relevant work experience. Successful applicants will be admitted to Level 200.

4. Applicants with Third (3rd) Class or lower must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Successful applicants will be admitted to Level 100.

Professional and Other Entry Qualifications

All professional certificates and any other qualifications beyond the ones specified above are referred to the National Accreditation Board for the establishment of their equivalences, to determine their eligibility for admission.

Graduate Students

Master of Arts in Theology
  1. An applicant with a first degree in Theology or Religion or any related field from an Accredited Institution with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent.
  2. An applicant with a diploma in theology will be required to pass the prescribed deficiency courses prior to admission to a master’s degree in theology
Master of Arts in Ministry
  1. An applicant with a first degree in any discipline from an Accredited Institution with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent and experience in the ministry either in the church or an institution
Master of Philosophy in Theology
  1. A Master’s degree in Theology/Religions/related fields with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent.
  2. An Applicant with the first degree in Theology/Religion/related fields from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent be admitted conditionally, subject to taking prescribed Level 600 courses in the first year. The M. Phil registration be confirmed after obtaining a grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent in the course work during the first year.
  3. An applicant with a 3rd Class Division in Master’s degree, employed in program-related fields, with relevant work experience, and demonstrating the capacity to cope with the program may be considered for admission in exceptional cases. Such applicants will be required to write and pass a selection examination and an interview organized by the Graduate School.
Doctor of Philosophy in Theology
  1. A Master’s degree in Theology/Religions/related fields with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent.
  2. An Applicant with the first degree in Theology/Religion/related fields from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent be admitted conditionally, subject to taking prescribed Level 600 courses in the first year. The M. Phil registration be confirmed after obtaining a grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent in the course work during the first year.
  3. A registered Ph. D. Candidate of another University may be allowed to transfer credits earned and may get a waiver of the coursework if the content of the coursework component of a doctoral degree is comparable with the approval of the Graduate Studies Committee
